This hydraulic brake sensor is a reed switch with a magnet, it is plug and play compatible with the Bafang BBS Kit. The motor will cut off when the brakes are activated and are recommended for security. Also is very helpful when shifting gears, activate the brake sensor for a short cut off the motor and the gears will jump in easier.

The device can be easily fixed to the underside of either hydraulic brake levers or also mechanical brake levers, using double-sided tape or better hot glue, combined with cable ties. The Magnet is fixed to the moving brake lever and the sensor appropriately located on the stationary, mounting bracket.
This version of the Ebrake Sensor is sold plug-and-play for the Bafang BBS kit (the latest version, using a 3 pin Higo plug with a Yellow insert). The sensor is sold as a pair. The form of the magnets can be different.
