An electric bicycle (e-bike) is a bicycle integrated with an electric motor to assist riders — typically built with a battery-powered, pedal-assist, or throttle.
When you begin pedaling, the pedal-assist triggers the motor to accelerate at a faster rate which allows you to zip up hills and take on tough terrains using minimal effort.
Pedal Assist (PAS) is a mode that provides power only when you pedal. If you're used to riding a traditional bike, the pedal-assist mode has a more intuitive feel compared to the throttle mode.
A thumb throttle can be fitted to most of the eBikes in our range.The throttle on the e-bike can be activated from a complete stop.
New legislation became effective in January 2016. The current regulations define an “electric bicycle” as: a bicycle equipped with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than 750 watts, separated into three classes:
1. A "class 1 electric bicycle,” or “low-speed pedal-assisted electric bicycle,” is a bicycle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
2. A "class 2 electric bicycle,” or “low-speed throttle-assisted electric bicycle,” is a bicycle equipped with a motor that may be used exclusively to propel the bicycle, and that is not capable of providing assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
3. A "class 3 electric bicycle,” or “speed pedal-assisted electric bicycle,” is a bicycle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, (no throttle) and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 28 miles per hour and equipped with a speedometer.

EUNORAU batteries have several hundred watt-hours capacity, while airline regulations typically limit the maximum battery size to 100-150 watt-hours. There is no airline we know of that accepts batteries with energy capacities this high.

Lots of customers used a 52V battery to connect with a 48V30A controller.Then the display might shown high voltage error 07. So BAFANG has update the 48V30A controller to 52V28A,then it can compatible with both 48V and 52V batteries. For a 52V battery it will show 100% on the display when connecting to the 52V controller, but for 48V battery,it will show 84%. We're still trying to resolve this matter,it's not a big question, it won't effect any functions.

Yes! You can access the charge port and the USB port on all EUNORAU bike models without removing the the battery from the bike.Also your battery can be brought inside and set to charge.
Batteries typically last 5-6 years. However, this can vary depending on how much you use your e-bike. EUNORAU batteries will still deliver more than 80% of their original capacity after 500 charge cycles.
To prolong the lifetime of the battery there are several procedures that can be followed. The main ones include:
1.If storing the battery for more than 2 weeks it should be kept in a cool, dry place with a 70%-80% charge remaining in it.
2.Avoid running the battery completely flat. Charging batteries when they still have 10-15% of power remaining will significantly extend their lifetime.
Depending on the battery and charger type a full battery charge will take between 3-8 hours
The technology for charging batteries through pedaling hasn't reached an efficiency level we consider satisfactory yet, but we're always looking to innovate on our models.Currently only MAX-CARGO and JUMBO apply this function.
Regenerative braking is great in a car or motorbike with higher inertia but a bike isn’t heavy enough to allow the breaks to generate enough energy to significantly charge the battery.
All EUNORAU batteries have an internal BMS. The BMS regulates the current and voltage entering and exiting the battery. It prolongs the lifetime of the battery and ensures all the cells are drained at equal rates. It also protects the battery from transient events and monitors the temperature of the cells.
An ampere hour (abbreviated Ah, or amp hour) is the amount of energy charge in a battery which will allow one amp hour of current to flow for one hour. A higher amp hour battery will have more range on a bike than one with a lower value if both batteries have the same voltage. You can multiply the voltage by amp hour capacity to calculate the total energy capacity in Watt Hours.
Sometimes the battery stock is insufficient and we have to ship from the Chinese warehouse. Since the battery is a sensitive goods, the tracking information will not be updated until it reaches the recipient country. Generally, batteries shipped from China require 15-20 days of shipping time.
The battery is the major component on the bike that may need extra care in extreme weather. The optimal operating temperature for the EUNORAU batteries is 10℃ to 55℃.
Yes! We take our bikes through mountain streams and rain almost every day. The motor and electronic components are sealed and built to take a beating.
EUNORAU bikes are water resistant which means they are able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely. Riding in the rain and washing your bike won't cause any damage but the electronic components are not recommended to be exposed to water for long periods of time.
Note: The battery can only get wet while it's inserted into the battery housing.
The only component that you need to be concerned about when operating in extreme temperatures is the battery. The optimal operating temperature for a EUNORAU battery is 10℃ to 55℃. Battery efficiency can be severely limited outside of these temperatures and should be avoided as much as possible.

Yes! Every bike comes with 2 keys for the battery. It’s best to keep one as safe as possible. but if you do lose both, you can purchase a replacement one from us.

The dual suspension can efficiently soak up most of the jarring bumps, especially on complex and bumpy roads, which helps you to reduce fatigue and ride faster.
