Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the ONE-TRIKE 2.0 designed for?
The ONE-TRIKE 2.0 is designed for riders who value added stability, comfort, and cargo capacity for everyday trips. It may be a practical choice for commuting, shopping, neighborhood rides, and recreational use. However, it is an electric trike—not a medical mobility device.
Is an electric trike easier to balance than a two-wheel e-bike?
Three wheels provide a stable platform when starting, stopping, and riding at lower speeds. However, a trike handles differently from a bicycle and does not lean naturally into turns. New riders should practice in a flat, open area and slow down before cornering.
What rider height does it fit?
The recommended rider height is approximately 5'2" to 6'1". The saddle-to-ground height can be adjusted from approximately 32.3" to 38.6". Because leg length and mobility vary, we recommend a test ride whenever possible.
How much weight can the ONE-TRIKE 2.0 carry?
The total payload capacity is up to 440 lbs. This should be treated as the combined weight of the rider, cargo, and any installed accessories. Always distribute cargo evenly and keep heavier items low and centered.
What does the rear differential do?
The rear differential allows the two rear wheels to rotate at different speeds while turning. This helps reduce wheel skipping and tire scrub, making corners feel smoother and more controlled.
Is it suitable for hills and rough terrain?
The 500W motor, 20" × 2.6" tires, and 40 mm suspension fork can handle paved roads, bike paths, and moderately uneven surfaces. It is not intended for aggressive off-road riding. Use extra caution on steep hills, loose surfaces, and side slopes.
Does the trike fold for transportation or storage?
Yes. The frame and stem fold to reduce its storage footprint. However, the trike weighs approximately 86 lbs and remains wider than a regular folding bike. Before purchasing, measure your doorway, storage area, and vehicle cargo space. The unfolded width is approximately 36.2".
